A deep clean is a one-time, top-to-bottom clean for a home that needs more than a regular visit: grease on the range hood, soap scum and hard-water marks in the shower, dust along the baseboards and on the blinds. People book it before family comes to stay, after a busy season, before listing a house, or as the first visit before regular cleaning.
What a deep clean includes
- Kitchen: counters, backsplash, cabinet fronts, sink and taps scrubbed; stovetop, range hood and the outside of the appliances degreased; the microwave cleaned inside.
- Bathrooms: tub, shower, tile and glass scrubbed of soap scum and hard-water marks; toilets cleaned inside and out, down to the base; mirrors and fixtures polished.
- Every room: baseboards, door frames, light switches and handles wiped; blinds, window sills, ceiling fans and vent covers dusted.
- Floors: vacuumed and mopped edge to edge.
- On request: inside the oven and fridge, and inside cabinets and drawers. These add time, so mention them when you book.
We bring all the supplies, including the eco friendly products we make in-house from mild ingredients and essential oils, with no phosphates or chlorine.
How pricing works
You pay $50 an hour for each cleaner on site, plus GST, and only for the time we are there. There is no contract and no deposit: you get an invoice after the clean for the time actually spent.
A deep clean usually takes about half again as long as a regular visit, so around 3 to 4.5 hours for a typical home, and longer if it's been a while. When we send two cleaners the visit is shorter and the hours are the same. Tell us the size of the home, how many bathrooms and when it was last cleaned, and we include an hour estimate in your quote.
Vernon and Coldstream have no travel fee. Further out, a travel fee applies based on drive time, and we confirm it in your quote. See the towns we serve.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
A regular clean keeps a home tidy from visit to visit. A deep clean goes after the build-up a regular visit doesn't reach every time: baseboards, fixtures, blinds, grout and grease.
Do I have to sign up for regular cleaning?
No. A deep clean is a one-time booking. If you'd like regular visits afterwards, there's no contract for those either.
Moving out?
Move-in and move-out cleaning also covers inside every cabinet and appliance, done to damage-deposit standard.
