A note from the founder

Janna Knott

After working for many years in the restaurant industry, as well as in hotels, cruise ships, and other industries that required excruciating detail, I decided that I needed to run my own business that allowed me the freedom to fully express the passion that I had for people and professional service, as well as incorporate my intense love and commitment to preserving mother earth. It was my yoga teacher that first suggested I try out housecleaning.

After realizing that housecleaning gave me the opportunity to work on my own, keep me active, healthy, and provide people with the stress relief of having their spaces looked after, I decided that I wanted to pursue it full time and that this would be the outlet I needed to run my own business. 16 years later and haven't looked back!

For me, the gecko is not only a symbol of perseverance, regrowth, intuition and uniqueness, it is also a symbol that has bonded me with my family for years, we all have one gecko tattoo on our left ankle since loving tattoos done in Mexico so many years ago.
